St. Paul Street

In Om Framce. we had made our way up into the hills above Nice to visit a couple of art museums. There was the walled city of St Paul de Vence waiting to be explored. It was also popular and crowded. I had to wait for just the right moment for this photograph, hoping no one would step into the scene as I pressed the shutter. A bronze sign in the arched entrance through the thick wall stated that the city was begun in the first century.
